Greetings Oertha! Greetings to the West! The time approaches for new heirs to be selected to sit the Boreal Thrones! Join Their Highnesses Lucius and Anne to witness the tournament to select Their heirs and celebrate Their Investiture.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for this event, the pre-registration form will be released shortly.
50 brown bag lunches will be available for pre-order at $10/each as a fundraiser to support the Principality. A potluck dinner is planned for Saturday night.
Arts and Sciences Activities:
All activities accept entries in three categories: Laurel, Artisan, Youth
* To chase winter away: warmth in any mode, i.e., cloaks, hats, etc
* Hot beverages: non-alcoholic (ingredients must be listed)
* Fighting gear on any mode.
* Youth specific: Winter in any mode
* Bardic: Winter in any mode performed during pot-luck
The spinning guild is hosting a UFO (Unfinished Objects) competition, contact Ellisif for further details.
Ivory Spoon will be Basic Meat Pies in a Coffin. Basically any meat in a pastry container. Beef, pork, chicken, fish. Participant judged, bring recipe. Curious about how to make this? There will be a class at Winter's Gate Collegium!
Rapier activities will be announced soon.
Terrain Description: The majority of the event will be inside a single-floor building. Outside conditions will be weather dependent, but ice cleats are always a good idea! (They *must* be removed when coming inside.)
Bodies of water on/near site: There is a lake nearby, but it will most likely be frozen.
Insects or wild animals to be aware of on/ near site: Bear (should be in torpor, but who knows anymore), moose, coyote, wolves - it's Alaska

From the North: Take the Mirror Lake Exit off the Glenn. Turn Left at Paradise Ln and then Right at Hills Circle. The road ends at the site.
From the South: Take the Mirror Lake Exit off of the Glenn. Turn Left onto the Old Glenn Highway. Turn Right at Paradise Ln and then right at Hills Circle. The road ends at the site.
